Since 2010, Ground Education has incubated and hatched hundreds of chicks for our kindergarten and 5th grade garden lessons; creating a farm-like experience that teaches students about life-cycles, animal traits and adaptations, ecosystems, and the synergy of everything in nature. Each spring, school communities can hardly wait for the baby chicks to arrive–holding a warm, fuzzy chick is the highlight of the year, inspiring awe and joy. More than 300 baby chicks will help us deliver this lesson to 6,400+ students.

Hatching and caring for baby chicks is no yolk 🤣 It takes the entire Ground Ed team to provide the love, care, and attention they need. As our program continues to grow, your support is vital. 

Just $25 lets you symbolically adopt and name a baby chick. Our goal is to raise $15,000 to fund our
Spring Chick Hatch and school visits.

Your support will help:

• Purchase fertilized eggs ready for incubation
• Power our incubators and warming lights
• Purchase feed and bedding that baby chicks need to thrive
• Support chick care from our team
