Since 2010, Ground Education has incubated and hatched hundreds of chicks for our kindergarten and 5th grade garden lessons; creating a farm-like experience that teaches students about life-cycles, animal traits and adaptations, ecosystems, and the synergy of everything in nature. Our students’ fondest memories in the garden are interacting with the baby chicks, one they carry with them for the rest of their lives.
